🚀 Quick start
1. Plug your BLE OBD-II dongle into the car's OBD-II port (under the dash, driver's side). 2. Turn the key to ON — engine running for live data (RPM, coolant, speed). 3. Tap 🔗 Connect to car and pick your dongle from the list. 4. Tap 🚗 Scan my car for a full read, or ✅ Will I pass inspection? for an emissions pre-check.
🎛️ What each button does
🔗 Connect to car — pairs with your Bluetooth OBD-II dongle. 🚗 Scan my car — reads live data + trouble codes, with plain-English fixes and repair-cost estimates. ✅ Will I pass inspection? — checks your emissions "readiness monitors" + check-engine light so you know before you go. 📏 Log mileage — records your odometer for a running mileage history. 🛡️ Anti-theft / Kill — opens the A.C.E. Remote control (theft alerts + engine kill switch). 🎙️ Hey JARVIS — ask out loud ("run a diagnostic", "what's my mileage", "email me the report").
🛰️ Guard mode — real anti-theft test
Turns your phone + dongle into a live theft sensor: 1. Open remote.ace-auto.us and make sure it says ARMED. 2. Back here, Connect to car, then tap 🛰️ Guard mode (allow Location for geofencing). 3. If the engine starts while armed — or the car moves out of range — your phone gets an instant 🚨 theft alert (push · text · email). Keep this tab open while guarding — it's a live test tool, not a background app.
🔌 Which dongle do I need?
A.C.E. Mobile talks to your car over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), so you need a BLE ELM327 OBD-II adapter. Look for the words "BLE" or "Bluetooth 4.0/5.0" on the listing.

• Android phone + Chrome (this app uses Web Bluetooth). On iPhone, use a Web-Bluetooth browser like Bluefy.
• An OBD-II car — essentially any car sold in the US since 1996.
• Diagnostics are read-only; clearing codes always asks you to confirm first.
